We are proud to present the Audubon Public School District Curriculum in a way that can be accessed by the community. Because the demands of the state and the needs of our students continually shift, we are continually engaged in the APSD Curriculum Revision Cycle. Each year, we revise a portion of the curriculum to ensure that we keep pace with the trends in education; however, it should be noted that we primarily focus on using rich content to enhance the skill sets of our students. Therefore, our curriculum aligns with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, yet we also expose students to varied, conflicting, and, often, competing points of view to ensure they learn one of the most important skills needed for a thriving democracy: critical and independent thinking.
Should you have any questions or concerns or suggestions for ways to improve the curriculum, please contact us at dbentley@audubonschools.org.
